A Maine Family, A Maine Farm
Hallowell Harvest Farm is the heart and home of Brandon and Kyla Peavey, a husband-and-wife team dedicated to feeding Maine families with real, honest food. High school sweethearts, they’ve spent nearly two decades growing together, and in 2023, they finally put down roots in Maine’s beautiful countryside—the place they now call home.
Brandon, an outdoorsman with a creative approach to regenerative farming, runs the day-to-day operations, ensuring the land and animals are cared for with respect and purpose. Kyla, with over a decade of experience in business management and sustainability, keeps the farm running smoothly, making sure every product meets the highest standards of quality and ethics. In addition to running the farm & bakery, Kyla is also a certified personal trainer and nutrition coach, serving the Portland community and surrounding areas. Her expertise in nutrient-dense foods and ethical food production is woven into everything Hallowell Harvest Farm offers, from farm-fresh eggs to high-quality meats.
As a self-funded farm, we don't rely on government subsidies or big investors. We rely on our family, our hard work, and the incredible support of our community. Our two sons attend school here in Maine, and we’re deeply rooted in this community—not just as farmers, but as parents, neighbors, and small business owners. Brandon works full-time at Bath Iron Works, and together we juggle this wild and beautiful life because we believe in building something meaningful.
Hallowell Harvest Farm isn’t just a business—it’s a family-run mission to provide healthy, local food while preserving Maine’s beauty. With a commitment to regenerative farming, ethical animal husbandry, and sustainable food production, Brandon and Kyla are working to build something lasting—for their family, for their customers, and for the land they love.
By supporting Hallowell Harvest Farm, you’re not just buying food—you’re investing in local farms, strengthening Maine’s food system, and helping a hardworking family thrive.
